Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Reviewer in New Mexico to
assess the medical necessity and quality of healthcare
services.
Key Responsibilities
Apply clinical review criteria to determine the medical necessity
of healthcare services
Consult with physician/practitioner consultants when reviews do not
meet clinical criteria
Conduct outreach for additional information and participate in peer
reviews
Required Qualifications
BA/BS in a nursing field
3 years of clinical (direct patient care) experience
Current, active, unrestricted clinical licensure in New Mexico
Preferred +1 year of utilization review experience
Experience with developmentally disabled patients
