At Real Estate Equities, we're dedicated to Providing Housing, Building Communities, and Enhancing Lives. We're looking for a passionate Leasing Agent to take ownership of leasing apartments and maintain competitive occupancy across our properties.Purpose:
As a Leasing Agent, you will play a vital role in attracting new residents and creating a welcoming atmosphere that fosters a sense of community.What We Offer:

• Professional Development OpportunitiesJob Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed budgeted occupancy requirements by creating a positive prospect experience.
  • Manage the Knock leasing platform by following up with leads and maintaining a consistent engagement score of 85% or higher.
  • Schedule tours, show apartments, and respond to leasing inquiries via email.
  • Process background checks and ensure prospects meet company screening requirements.
  • Complete paperwork to determine household eligibility for affordable housing programs.
  • Process resident applications and follow up with residents to obtain necessary paperwork for leasing or renewing leases.
  • Conduct monthly pricing analyses of competitive buildings to optimize pricing and promotions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and foster good resident relations.
  • Report any issues with vacant apartments that may deter leasing.
  • Guide residents to the appropriate staff member to address concerns.
  • Attend compliance training and regular meetings as necessary.
  • Participate in resident activities and outreach programs.
  • Be a valuable part of an effective on-site team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:
    • Previous leasing or related sales experience preferred.
    • Familiarity with Yardi and Knock preferred.
    • Experience with affordable housing programs (Section 8, LIHTC, Tax Credit) is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
    • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and the ability to apply them in daily interactions.
    • Preferred but not required: Bilingual Spanish.Physical Requirements:
      • Ability to sit for long periods and lift up to 10 pounds.
